Pillar 3Bursary and application criteria / form
Any child or family who is from a single parent, low-income household and background is welcome to apply for assistance, no matter how small the need. The MVR Foundation does not discriminate based on gender, race, qualification, location, academic results, nor any other criteria – our aim is to help as many children and families as possible, wherever the need. Although our roots are in Kimberley, we aim to help communities across South Africa.
Please send an email to info@miafoundation.co.za, together with a completed application form. The application form is available to download down below. Or you can request an application form by sending your request to our email address.

Founded by prominent Kimberley businessman Louw van Reenen, the MVR Foundation emerged from the vision of continuing the legacy of his late wife, Mia van Reenen, with everyday acts of kindness.

The MVR Foundation is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and a not-for-profit company (NPC). This means we have both the privilege and the fiduciary responsibility to use the generous contributions from our donors for public benefit.

To date we have helped 50 children in our immediate community with donations equivalent to R500 000. Our impact in the area is continually growing. Here are some of the stories of the lives we have impacted.
